Biruk Almaz, MD, FACS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon specializing in colorectal cancer care and minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, followed by fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Almaz is certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered care focused on safety, comfort, and long-term outcomes.
