Hello. I'm Angelia Foster, and I'm the president here at Baptist Health Corbin. I'm excited to share an update. As you can see, our new patient care wing project is now underway.

This one hundred million dollar expansion will more than double our emergency and intensive care department's capacities.

It will add new private rooms, and it will create an expanded NICU for babies, all designed to provide a modern, compassionate space for patients and their families.

As part of this expansion, beginning next Monday on August the eighteenth, the emergency department entrance will need to relocate as construction continues.

This change is anticipated to last for the duration of the project.

The relocation for the ER entrance will be to the main entrance, which is just located a fifty feet distance from the existing ER entrance.

During this transition, watch for clear signage, valet parking, and volunteer navigators to help guide you. Additionally, our staff stand ready to help you in any way that we can. Thanks for your patience, especially with parking, as we make these upgrades to serve you even better. We are so blessed to have the support of our communities as we expand to enhance the services and care we provide to Southeastern Kentucky. And as always, we appreciate you choosing Baptist Health Corbin.
